President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf today, Friday, January 5, 2018 officially performed the dedicatory ceremony of a modern State of the John G. Bestman Maritime Training Institute (LMTI) in Marshall City Lower Margibi.

Travellers to Liberia for the presidential and legislative elections and business transactions planning to arrive by air will have to do so by 8 October.

The U.S. Embassy, on behalf of the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Monday signed an agreement with the Ministry of Education to implement the Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Program in Liberia. 

Liberia’s Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Eugene Nagbe says tourism is gradually becoming a leading booster in several economies around the globe with the most beautiful untouched destinations in developing countries like Liberia.
